LGBT+ seafarers are invited to take part in a Royal Museums Greenwich project, supported by Nautilus, which was stymied by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Interested seafarers can now participate in the LGBTQ+ Community-Led Research Project, which aims to insert 'queerness' in maritime into the archives. An open evening will be held on Thursday 23 March at the Museum's Collection Centre.
A museum spokesperson said there was a limited budget for travel (up to £30) for seafarers living outside the capital.
