Members and supporters can join the fight against fire and rehire policies by joining protests at:

Place: Port of Liverpool, L21 LA

Dover

Time: 12:00 midday

Place: RMT office, Maritime House, Snargate Street, Dover.

With a planned march to P&O offices

Cairnryan, Dumfries and Galloway

Time: 12:00 midday

Place: P&O ferry terminal, The Port  DG9 8RF

Hull

A further protest is planned for Friday 25 March in Larne and for Saturday 26 March in Liverpool.

For those unable to make it, please consider showing your support by signing the petition and writing to your MP.

The Union believes the decision by P&O Ferries to lay off 800 workers is a despicable attack on the company's own loyal seafarers, and represents a threat to every UK maritime professional. This action threatens to trigger a race to the bottom that damages pay and conditions for all.
